Samsung’s new ‘Odyssey OLED’ gaming monitors are becoming popular worldwide. The two new models, G80SD and G60SD, were released on the 4th of last month in countries like Korea, the USA, Europe, and Southeast Asia. In just over a month, more than 20,000 units have been sold.
These two new OLED products are characterized by being the first to apply Samsung Electronics’ unique burn-in prevention technology, ‘Samsung OLED Safeguard+’, and being equipped with ‘OLED Glare Free’, which minimizes light reflection.
The Odyssey OLED G8 (32 inches, 240Hz refresh rate) with 4K UHD resolution and the Odyssey OLED G6 (27 inches, 360Hz refresh rate) with QHD resolution are equipped with various functions for clear picture quality and smooth game play, such as 16:9 screen ratio response speed of 0.03ms (GtG), standard brightness of 250 nits.
