According to the latest information, Samsung Galaxy A53 smartphone users are now getting the May 2022 security update in Europe. Before it was released in the US and Asia last week. Other markets could get the update within the next few days.
For your information, this new software update for the Galaxy A53 is rolling out with the firmware version A536BXXU2AVD7. The May 2022 security patch fixes dozens of privacy and security-related vulnerabilities.
How to download the Galaxy A53 update?
You can now download and install the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install.
The phone has a 6.5-inch full-HD + Super AMOLED display. The good thing is that the flat display is made of Gorilla Glass 5 for scratch protection. The left and right borders are thin but the top and bottom borders are slightly thicker. The fingerprint reader is embedded in the display. the Galaxy A53 5G comes with an in-house Samsung chipset, which is said to be Exynos 1280. This is the same chip that also powers the cheaper Galaxy A33 5G.
