Google is to update and fix the issue thread that Google has to refine in the Pixel phones while calling using Android Auto. Though, Google never takes a chance with its obligation we must say since a few days pass it is doing much. We have even noticed some of the feels about the issue that is occurring in the Pixel phones.
A report is captured of a thread on the Google support forum that calls on Android Auto coming through the phone’s speaker rather than the car as expected. It was observed constantly for affected users with no clear fixes. That’s when other apps, including media apps, are coming through the car’s speakers. While that’s a bug that can occasionally happen to anyone.
Earlier this month an announcement took place that a member of the Android Auto team finally offered a good update for this issue. For now at least and the issue had been fixed for pixel phones.
Seemingly, the Android 13 update patches up the problem of phone calls on Android Auto playing through the phone’s speaker on Google Pixel devices eligible for the update (Pixel 4a and forward). Apparently “Other phones” will need a separate fix for the problem, but specifics aren’t offered yet.
These issues are separate from other Android Auto problems that occurred on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro last month. Google is convinced that it still needs more bug reports to investigate further.
Meanwhile, Google is investigating another issue on Pixel phones with Android Auto. Specifically, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro seem to be having problems with connecting as well as randomly disconnecting from Android Auto with no clear cause.
