Samsung has started rolling out the December 2022 security patch to the carrier-locked variant of the Galaxy Z Flip in the US. The latest firmware update for the Galaxy Z Flip comes with firmware version F700U1UES5HVL2, and it is currently available on the AT&T, Cricket, Comcast, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile networks.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G December 2022 security patch is rolling out with the version F707U1UES3GVL1, and it is available on the AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Cricket, Nextech/C-Spire, and Xfinity Mobile networks.
The update fixes over 90 security vulnerabilities. If you are a Galaxy Z Flip user on these networks, you can check for the update manually by going to Settings -> Software update -> Download and install.
To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip was launched in February 2020. The foldable smartphone debuted with Android 10 and One UI 2.0 onboard. Samsung recently updated this device to Android 13 (One UI 5.0), and it was their last major Android OS update.
