At CES 2023, Samsung showcased its futuristic game-changer products. The company introduced Samsung Flex Slidable Solo and Samsung Flex Slidable Duet. These two slidable prototypes have 17-inch large-screen slidable displays.
The key difference between these two is the Flex Slidable Solo can expand its screen in one direction while the Flex Slidable Duet can expand its screen in two directions.
Users can easily expand the screen up to 17.3 inches to experience more view quality. Alongside the Flex Solo and Flex Duet, the company also showcased the “Flex Hybrid” scream that will combine both foldable and slideable capabilities into one display. The Flex Hybrid display will be available in the future for laptops and other devices from the company.
Samsung Slidable Prototypes Key Highlights
Slidable Flex Solo: It can only extend on one side to increase the tablet size.
Slidable Flex Duet: It slides or extends the tablet in both directions.
Slidable vertical: Extends the smartphones vertically or length-wise.
Slidable Horizontal: Extends the smartphone horizontally or width-wise.
Slidable Wide: Extends the smartphone horizontally in both directions.

Meanwhile, the left side of the Samsung Flex Hybrid uses a foldable screen technology while the right side of the screen is slideable.
