Last December, Samsung released the Android 13 update to the Galaxy A13 with new features and enhancements. The update was rolled out in several Asian and European countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Croatia, France, Georgia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, and the UK.
Now, according to the latest information, Verizon bounded Galaxy A13 has started receiving the new security patch update in the US. The update has the firmware version A135USQS4CWD2 and is rolling out as an OTA update. It brings the April 2023 security patch which fixes over 60 security flaws, including the ones affecting Exynos chips and modems.
In order to install the latest firmware on your device you can install it by tapping on Settings -> Software update -> Download and install. To recall, Samsung launched the Galaxy A13 with Android 12 OS pre-installed in Q2 2022. The smartphone comes with a 6.6-inch Super TFT Infinity-V full-HD+ screen paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it powers an octa-core processor based on the Exynos 850 SoC.
