Between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics YouTube TV stopped working during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, last day. The issue is still not cured yet as YouTube TV experienced “elevated rebuffing rates” during the game on TNT that resulted in reports of frozen feeds, dropped audio, and even commercials failing.
Notably, there were no issues on Tuesday night for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets. This appears to have occurred nationwide regardless of your internet speeds and across various devices from televisions to desktop web and mobile apps. As it was happening, the YouTube TV team said it was aware of the issues and “working on a fix.” However, it did not make a difference and the viewing experience was impacted for many.
In this context, people catching a problem with it have downloaded the TNT app and signed in with YouTube TV. Well, this doesn’t give complete sense to all not working to all. Others encountered a “This app has reached its sign-in rate limit for now” error while in the not working category.
Being official to the issue TeamYouTube on Twitter said that you might “experience an issue when watching content on multiple channels via YTV.” Meantime, the issue still persists and appears to have spread to other channels later this evening.
“we’re really sorry about this & we’ll keep you posted as soon as we have an update”
