Apple launched its AirTags back in 2021 since the GPS trackers gained a lot of growth in the market. Samsung also looking to conquer market shares in this sector and stop the hegemony of AirTags thanks to the Galaxy SmartTag 2 , the successor of the first generation launched in 2021.

As per the technical specifications details, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 will get Bluetooth 5.3 support and UWB (ultra-broadband) technology. According to the latest information the next Galaxy SmartTag will launch in black and white versions.
The Galaxy SmartTags 2 will support UWB technology abandoning the strategy of their predecessors in which this was only available on the Plus variant and not on the standard one.
The Galaxy SmartTag 2 factory serial number is EI-T5600KWEGEU and it consists of four units, 2 of which are black and 2 are white. However, the next Galaxy SmartTags will support numerous intelligent functions including the creation of a virtual perimeter outside which the device will send warning notifications; everything will be manageable from the SmartThings Find application.
