Samsung is continuously changing the One UI 5 beta rollout date for Chinese users. The reason behind this is the lag on the system animations. Now, according to the official Samsung Galaxy community information, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series (S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra) One UI 5 beta experience based on Android 13 in China will start on August 29, 2022.
Previously it was claimed to roll out on August 23. Samsung officially mentioned, that the Chinese users of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series who want to participate in the One UI 5 beta program keep checking the notifications in the Galaxy community.
In order to join the One UI 5 beta program, you need to install the Samsung Members app’s latest version. Once the beta is live in your region, you will see a banner at the very top. It will mention that registrations for the One UI 5.0 beta program are now open.
Click on on the banner and you are on the Beta tester way. Just download the first beta build. To do so, you need to visit the Settings app and go to Software update, and select Download and install. Once all is done, now you can test the Android 13 and One UI 5.0.
Meanwhile, the South Korean tech firm, Samsung has already opened the first One UI 5.0 beta version for South Korea, Europe, and the US.
